Spring into Action

Spring is Beginning to blossom In the mountains of central Asia.  And here in United States we are finalizing our preparations for another year.

Our project is still active and trainings are ongoing, even despite the recent unrest in Badakhshan Province, Tajikistan.  Planning has taken on a new urgency as I am soon to be traveling to do our first  full scale assessment of our First two years of operations.

We've reported over 70 small businesses started employing over 100 people In this very economically stagnant area.  Now is the time to interview these businesses to see what we did well and what we can do better.

It is our intention to expand our scope in the region and perhaps launch a second office to double our impact.

Some ask why there is a need For another organization. To that I say there is a need for another idea in the marketplace. NGOs and organizations the world around have had a catastrophic failure to impact and change the very things that they are attempting to change. Either we should quit entirely or if we are optimistic which I am we need to dramatically change the way things are done to assist the poor around the world.
